The Healing Hand

by Sue Knight Deutsch

This book was written with the intent to be by your side when I cannot be there with you. Originally intended to be in the hospital room, my professional experience shows me that healing often takes place outside the hospital walls.

Sue Knight Deutsch

Hello. I’m Sue, and I help people who are facing the unthinkable. Everyone experiences change, and often with that change comes loss. Sometimes change is exciting, and sometimes scary, and often both. Change! That relationship you thought would last forever; the job you loved that is somehow gone; illness that either crept up or suddenly happened; a natural or man-made disaster that robs us of everything we thought was safe; and ultimately, loss of life itself. That’s where I come in.

Sue has touched many lives with compassion and love and this book will serve to reach myriads of others. I find it hard to put down and is a book I know I will be revisiting many times.

More than a Car, It’s a Vehicle

“No one ever told me that grief felt so like fear” wrote C. S. Lewis in his opening line of “A Grief Observed”. These words reverberated in my head as I sat in my living room clutching my heart, wondering why I felt so afraid. After all, it was my day off and all I...
